My Favourite Ways to Reset & Recharge

Life is busy and can often feel like a never-ending rollercoaster. Between family life and work, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself.
Finding ways to relax and recharge are different for everyone, what's important is to find a balance of activities that work for you. I've listed below, some of my favourite ways to look after my own wellbeing. Maybe this list will inspire you to find some time for yourself - you deserve it!
Go for a walk. I love an early morning walk, when the world seems a little calmer.
Wander to your local coffee shop. I like to explore new coffee shops, as opposed to sticking with high street chains.

Find your local library and check out a new book.
Treat yourself to a massage or facial. Finances are tight for a lot of people at the minute, if you don't have a regular salon, try your local college - they often offer discount treatments.
Clear out your wardrobe of those clothes you try on, but never choose to wear.
Meditate - which can be as simple as sitting in peace for 5 minutes.
Phone a friend or family member, just to say hi.
Burn a candle, incense sticks or diffuse essential oils. Choose scents that make you feel good.
Go to the beach and walk on the sand, listening to the sound of the waves.
Watch the sunset.
Go camping, or if that's not your thing, a night away in a hotel.
Write a list of things you need to do. Split items up into manageable tasks and maybe set mini goals.
Remember to take a little time for you.
